Here is 100 % proof of Teddy training Mike Tyson. Notice the good prefight motivational speech. Atlas did win a Golden Gloves tournament i'm just not sure which one.

OK< let me clear it up for you. That clip is from documentary called "Watch me now" it's original title. Clip there is from junior olympics final. What you se is what led to Atlas being let go from Cus. Cus sent Teddy to work corner and travel to Denver with Tyson. Rooney was fighting pro, could not make trip.
Atlas worked on Tyson (Not seen there) and had him convinced that Cus Rooney, and everyone else (except Teddy) was against him. That led to crying episode you see there. When they returned, Cus found out, things got bad, and as Tyson said in one interview, Cus found out what Teddy was doing, kicked him out of camp. Atlas has spent years convincing people it was otherwise, mostly with story of molested girl.


Tyson was 15 there, and Atlas was gone soon after---no one disputes that (Unless you want to ?) Being sent to work a corner for a few bouts does not make him man who developed Tyson.

Age 12 or 3, Cus started training him with Bobby Stewert, the Rooney go tin, then Atlas at times. Cus was one in charge, and one teaching. Others mentioned worked mitts with Tyson and other fighters, since Cus was too old.
Atlas assisted Cus on and off for a year with Tyson, when Tyson was 15. That is it, he was not his trainer, did not develop him.




Atlas had only one amateur fight, he claimed back pain when Cus tried to put him in New York City Golden Gloves--a fact. Atlas never as in tournament. He claims to have been in some obscure upstate tournament, where some inexperienced kids from backwoods enter, other wise, he is full of **** on amateur career, and back injury.

Ever see him bouncing around like ******* in that friday night fight breakdown--he does that all the time, it's what he does when training fighters, going back to 1982. Yet whenever Cus talked of him going into Golden Gloves, Teddy would suddenly break into facial twitches he said were caused by pain of back spasms, which he now says is some form of Scilrosis!

 

Teddy Atlas, a punk, no amateur career, except what he made up, no major part of developing Tyson.

 

I just loved it when he spend every end of the round calling the referee a cocksucker in his face, then when sent to the dressing room he's all 'i never said a god damn thing'

 

stoney fought in vietnam he doesn't have to prove **** you! stoney being 65 and trying to fight anyone is insane and hard as ****.

 

So I was watching classic boxing last night on Fight network and for some reason it was featuring Bruce Seldon fights of all people....anyways they showed Oliver Mccall whuppin his ass but after that there wass still another 10 minutes to go for the hour of classic boxing so they threw on Seldon vs Popov since it only went 2 rounds and who's working Popovs corner with that wicked handlebar stache??? Stoney!! hahaha shame they didn't show the in between rounds or the post fight reaction as I'm sure I missed out on some gold courtesy of the funniest trainer ever. So I guess Popov was his charge even before Jawnny since this was 93?
