A lot of leather flying in the third round. A few accidental low blows.

Perez look to be getting the better of the exchanges but Serrano is putting in some real effort.

Perez appeared to get the better of the fourth, by virtue of landing the cleaner punches

I look forward to seeing Garcia. Their taking his career along very slow which is annoying.

    Round 5

Perez is darting back as Serrano stabs at him with body shots using both hands. Jabs to the face by Perez, trying to control Serrano from outside. Lots of ducking and dodging by Perez on the way in, grabbing Serrano around the middle. Serrano lands a nice long hook as they separate. Lots of tying up. Perez is utilizing good head movement on the way in to slip shots, but is holding before he can get his own shots off. Jab and high clapping right inside by Perez. Good quick left jab by Serrano as they step out to mid range. More holding. Perez throws a lead left hook and a chopping right hand behind it. Clinch.

    10-9 Perez

    Round 6

Perez throws an overhand right falling in. Serrano is slicing with lefts and rights trying to decapitate Perez on the way in. Perez is just too slippery and able to get inside without getting touched, then tie up until split. Big right hand by Serrano, hitting shoulder. Big flurry both ways, and Perez punctuates with a left hook. Serrano throws some wide punches, forcing his way back inside. Perez turns southpaw, pops some right jabs, and then back to orthodox. Perez getting DIRTY. Elbows to the face of Serrano as he punches his way in. Lots of backslapping and collision as they keep coming together.

    10-9 Perez

Colonel Bob has it 59-56 for Camilo Perez but says the first two or three were very close.

So, worst case for the hometown guy would be a draw you'd think?

A little choppy at times, but a pretty well boxed encounter between two guys who have decent skill-sets from what I saw.

Yeah, it kind of makes me a little irrationally pissed off at Ricky Burns for not being able to get rid of Paulus Moses inside schedule so we could have been free to see this in its entirety. :yep
