Douglas KO'd Tyson. The end.

 

First round kayo of Saleta. Stopped Cantatore, Francis, Clifton Mitchell and a few other guys who were thought to be factors on the Euro scene at the time. Clearly, he was the best in the region when he fought Lewis. He did give Lewis a tougher than expected time, but that was just as much due to his own ability to fight than an off night on Lewis' part.

PS: Lewis still won that fight clearly, in spite of Mavrovic being competitive over the first eight rounds or so.

 

And Lewis was one-punch KO'd twice as champion, got a gift decision against Mercer, a paper TKO against McCall and got the **** out of dodge once a serious contender emerged to take his throne. This, despite aging like fine fine and being at the peak of his powers.

 

Did u know that mavrovic was a vegan all his boxing career?
