    Long left jabs by Herrera, pushing forward. Herrera gets jabbed in the navel and backs up. They trade exploratory jabs from outside and both miss most of them. Herrera is backed up, dancing back to the ropes. Herrera throws a lead right suddenly darting forward, and he makes Gonzalez trip up a bit after stepping on his lead foot (I think by accident). Herrera jabs from outside, with Gonzalez trickling his own jab back out at him. Neither man is closing the distance, just reaching. Wild right by Gonzalez. Herrera backs up and blocks some jabs. 1-2 to the body by Herrera diving in low. Gonzalez catches him on the face with a jab. They clinch and hit each other on the break. The crowd starts going wild. Gonzalez lands a few jabs. Several jabs. Herrera holds

    Gonzalez is jabbing and backing up. Herrera is following and jabbing at the body, not connecting. Gonzalez is throwing some sloppy rights, leaving himself open. Mostly just jabbing. Oh, BIG RIGHT HAND BY GONZALEZ!! Herrera was hurt!! Used the top rope to hold himself up while falling backward, should have been ruled a KD!! Herrera is backed up along the ropes and flails back at Gonzalez, trying to counter or hold. Gonzalez loads up and lands, a right hand! A 1-2!! Herrera gets roughed up!!! He can't hold! Gonzalez bashes him into the ropes!! Herrera won't go down!!

    Herrera survives to the final bell.

    10-9 Gonzalez, could have been 10-8.
