"The audience booed the decision while Jim Lampley mentioned that he didn’t know what fight they (the Judges) were watching. He said it wasn’t the first time a decision like this was handed out. I knew it wouldn’t be the last. This is what happens in the absence of a legitimate National Boxing Commission. The Judges are obviously paid by the promoters who tell them how to score the fight regardless what actually happens in the ring."

    Castillo vs Void.
Cherry picked by design, destined to fail.:rofl:lol::patsch

Castillo fought at 140 and 150lb before fighting may at 135lb.

They thought they were getting a drained castillo, who cant make the weight again only to get his cherry picking ass tapped for 12rds...

    Cotto e are you crazy?

Marquez was a cherrypick, even Pacquiao said it himself in OnFreddieRoach, "I thought I would be to big and strong for him" in other words I made him come up to this weight cause I believed I would beat him. Never mind the fact he is 38 and was completely dominated by Floyd.

    My bad, forgot about CJ.

    :good

Styles make fights. Pacquiao blows through Diaz and Katsidis on the same night. Marquez had to dig deep to take them down.

You're missing my point - it's hard to make a case for a cherrypick claim when the guy is known as a master technician, second best counterpuncher in the game, and has gone life and death with you twice.

    :hi:

what makes floyd a smart cherrypicker is that he knew what style would give him trouble after he fought castillo. from thereon he moved away from pressure fighters who have decent power.

The TS is right Pacquiao saw how badly Marquez did at the same weight against Mayweather and thought he'd have an easy fight. Finaly "proving" he was the clearly better boxer than Marquez who he'd had two close bouts with in the past. Had Marquez not been domanated by Mayweather this bout would not have been made.

In hindsight what your saying is correct, but before the fight the majority of people and obviously Top Rank, Roach and Pacquiao thought that he would walk over Marquez, hence the early ko predictions from Roach, Ariza etc...

Gatti, Hatton, Oritz, and now Cotto. These guys are all pressure fighters with at least decent power.
