Does anybody know the results from the fights involving John Thain, Jordan McCorry and Jonathon Slowey from the undercard on Saturday? I've checked Boxrec but the results not listed yet. Thanks
Thain won 57-56 with knockdown in first proving the decisive point, McCorry won 40-36 and Slowley won on points I believe
I thought Ormond would get the decision but it was close and i couldn't really argue with the result, i think Ormond did throw far too much slapping shots and he could do with some time working on correct punching technique before his next fight.
Watch the fight again mate,Stephen was hitting gloves and arms,all the cleaner work was all done by Paul,you don't score points by looking busy only hitting the target,granted a good fight and one that could be done again
Ive watched the fight a few times and still know the cleaner shots,and more powerful shots were landed by ormond,granted paul proved he has a chin but was still outboxed,outworked and outclassed by ormond.
