These fighters have competed near the top of their division at one point or another, but always seem to come up short in Title fights.

Of this group, who do you think has the best shot to grab a belt before they hang em up?

(feel free to add any or make corrections)

Need to also ad Lucas Matthysse to the list, can you edit polls?

    Does Joan Guzman count?

From that list I'd pick Chambers, once the K brothers are out the way.

The one who deserves it most, without doubt is Michael Katsidis.

LOL as much as I think Lemieux is flawed, he's far far away from retirement and still hungry if we go by the latest interview on rds.ca. He's what, 24?

28-29 yr old Lemieux might win a belt, who knows. Tighter defense, better selection of punches, same power. It could happen.

Guzman has won real belts, but good mention because he certainly has squandered precious time in what could've been a much brighter career thus far.

    Eddie Chambers and David Lemieux.

Chambers is a real good fighter but just too small to compete with the Klits at the moment.

Lemieux is still young as ****, pretty sure he can make still make some noise if he puts some work in the gym.

Oh, and grow his hair back. Lemieux was much better looking without it short like. Basically if he keeps cutting it he'll be nothing but a journeyman.

    I would.

You should change your pic back to Lemiux and Sexyman. I haven't had some decent fap material in a while.

It's crazy in this era with all these ridiculous belts that Katsidis has never held a world title.

You know, there's a Bute fan who used to have Sexy & Bute in his avi, same buddy concept.

I'm waiting for a good still of a Bute straight left landing on Froch's exquisite nose to change my avi.

In the meantime, my sweet car it is. :smoke

Yeah I remember that pic too but Bute doesn't really do anything for me, I prefer dark haired chaps like.

Your avatar should be a picture of you outside the Nottingham arena with a sign "ESB Canadian takeover", try and get your girlfriend in the frame for my pleasure too lad ;).

Hmm I've only been with the current one for roughly a month, the big boobed ex g/f is long gone as she didn't follow from Ottawa. 3rd year university student didn't want to transfer to a university in Toronto, oh well oh well. The Forces move me, I couldn't move her (well I could in a sense, but, ya know). :conf

The current one is definitely not excited at the idea of me going to the UK. She's more of a tropical vacation girl, and can't afford to take any time off this upcoming May. Come to think of it, after a month, no pic of me & her. **** that's bull****, I'll try to get on that.

The "ESB Canadian takeover" sign is a cool idea, I'll see if I can come up with something that won't get me mugged/killed.

I would say Arreola from that list. Lemioux seems to lack any real boxing intelligence, and if he can't get the KO within the first few rounds, he doesn't have the stamina to go 12 rounds without gassing badly.

Chisora hasn't got the punch to topple the HW division. He has heart, a fantastic chin, but i think Vlad would beat him alot worse than Vitali, and Haye already got the better of him and Chisora would lose his head in the ring against him.

Edison Miranda, is shot to pieces. He's a gatekeeper at best at the moment. He'll always get outboxed, and once those clean punches start landing he tends to go down like a sack of potatoes.

Libero Andrade, should do well, but he has been so inactive. I actually think his approach means it's better for him to retire than carry on fighting. He has no quit in him, and took 20734707 shots against Kessler and Bute, i think he might even have a worthy effort at world level and always has that power to cause a surprise but I don't really think his heart is in the boxing game anymore.

Eddie Chambers is what he is, a reasonable heavyweight, who isn't that quick handed, heavyhanded (save a couple of good knockdowns against C-level comp), if he were to fight a couple of other fringe level contenders tomorrow like Bostyov, Price, Fury, Pulev, he would lose in close fights, and we've already seen him being beaten by a Klit, his best days are behind him.

Kasidis, he was meant to take out Ricky Burns, but instead got his ears boxed off. He still has that natural all-out aggression in the first 5 rounds, and thats when he is dangerous (as shown against Mitchell) but he has been in many wars and could still have one world title left in him, if against a boxer who can't keep him at bay. But whether, that happens in his division is another matter. He already lost against Burns and Broner would dismantle him completely.

I'm sure some Canadian photographer will sneak one somewhere during the first and only round. It would be a bit like saying the police were a wee bit heavy handed with Rodney King. Not the whole story.:deal
Or Bute beat Andrade twice...:hey I'm sorry mate.:goodI tried so hard to resist!:| Honest!:scaredas:
