Who do you respect more or like as a fighter?

The Cotto in the 2nd Margarito fight or JML in the 2nd Salido fight.

You basically had Cotto running, in my opinion, in his 2nd fight with Margarito.

You had JML go out on his shield in his 2nd fight with Salido.

Which one did you like/respect more? Barring/ignoring the comments JML made concerning the ref.

winning is the goal.....i dunno...id rather win the way cotto did than be a loser the way juanma was...no matter how much balls he showed....i think cotto has shown enough balls in his life(when he was hitting them)

I respect both...they are different types of fighters...one adjusted and won..the other one didnt and paid the price. Its like having two kids and one is smart and the other one is dumb. I love them both though

 

:rofl:rofl good comment. As you said Cotto was able to learn and to get the best out of his abilities. JuanMa regressed after the Penelosa fight, never learned any defense. The fighter of your island that combines both their qualities (big hearth+boxing brain) was Wilfredo Gomez imao.

 

I respect the guy who WINS. In this case COTTO with SKILL over that slow ****** from Tiajuana who was raised to actually believe he was put on this earth to be punched in the face repeatedly for applause. Cotto's mother on the other hand taught him he was worth more than being a human donkey for the entertainment of PPV junkie slackers. ;-)

Real pride and self respect means not being an idiot and dying on PPV so a sucker on a boxing forum can say "wow he has heart"

Salido vs Lopez 2 alone is 10 times better than Margarito vs Cotto 1 and 2.

just like Gomez vs Pintor is 25 times better than Chavez vs Camacho
