Is it fair to say Wlad is generally not that entertaining a HW?

1 you said it Vitali was forcing that fight.
2 shot to **** Tyson he was holding and leaning on his neck much like Wlad does.
3 boring till the final combo much like Wlad again.
4 fight forced by a ATG (already quite old) Holyfield not by Lewis. (Wlad never had such a opponant)
5 Wlad was more entertaining vs Botha, Grant fight is less entertaining than some of the pre Steward Wlad fights, Lewis also ended it with a highly illegal move by holding Grants head down and then uppercutting him.

I honestly dont see how Lewis was more entertaining tbh, which doesn't mean i find Wlad currently entertaining just saying they were both fairly boring.
Atleast Wlad was not always boring.

Wlad is boring because he fights scared. He just can't take a risk of getting hit. Wlad has the worst chin in boxing history. Why people keep comparing Wlad to Lewis I will never know. Lewis would have killed Wlad with in a round.

That is ashame how Wlad holds that little man. He is even scared to get hit by him. Wlad fights like a ***** now days. His old style was fun to watch but we learn yes Wlad can beat up people but he can't handle getting hit back.

Wlad controls the pace, distance, and tempo of all of his fights. Systematically breaks down his opponents with the jab, adding in more and more power shots as the fight goes on. First breaking their will.... then taking their heart... all the while hardly ever being hit with a flush shot.... and still goes on stop his opponents at a higher rate than Lennox Lewis, Mike Tyson, Joe Louis, Joe Frazier, Jack Dempsey, Ali, Sonny Liston, Ernie Shavers, Evander Holyfield, Riddick Bowe, ect....

Any person who can't appreciate that is not a true boxing fan. That is my honest opinion. If you find a fighter boring who puts completely dismantles his opponents, breaks their wills and knocks them out... all while hardly ever being hit.... then you clearly don't understand the meaning of boxing. It is the hard of hitting without being hit. Any fighter who takes 2 shots to give 1 does so because that is the only way they can have success. Trust me... if all fighters could get away with outboxing and knocking their opponents out without taking so much punishment themselves, they would do it. As far as this "holding" nonsense goes.... there are very few boxing topics more exaggerated than this one. Most of the clinches in Wlad's fight are initiated by his opponents, as they run out of options and decide to just duck, run into his chest and hold on. I am sure that you would much rather see Wlad bite his opponents ear at that point. However, he just leans his weight on them... making the pay the price for doing it... and then goes back to kicking the **** out of them after the ref breaks. Also... this doesn't happen that often in most of his fights. Morons act like he hugs like John Ruiz or something.

I love MMA as well. I think that many people who pretend to be boxing fans would be better off watching MMA. However, then they would complain about takedowns and grappling. In hindsight... I think that boxing fans who can't appreciate true boxing like Wladimir shows would be better of going to their local toughman contest and watching that. Or maybe a couple of drunks swinging for the fences down at their local bar.

The most clinches in this fight was a result of Mormeck going forward with his head in front.

Clinching is a part of boxing.

Wlad knocks his opponents out. One of the best Heavyweights of all the time.

He is so boring that I no longer watch him live, if at all. I live on the West Coast and will record the afternoon live broadcast then watch it on fast forward on the DVR.

Of course, that was before he bored the network executives so badly they stopped broadcasting his fights in America.

Then you'd be wrong. Lewis moved forward throwing the whole fight.
