    Mosley wins.

Hell, at 135, I'd even give Mosley a shot against the great Duran.

Good job. That statement is only mildly ******ed (Nobody really has a shot against Duran at LW).

There are guys who would have a shot against Duran at LW. Pernell Whitaker would have a very good shot.

    Mosley UD Camacho

Camacho was at his pomp as a 130lber and damaged goods post Rosario; Mosley would school him.

    Mosley WU15 (10-5)

I'm going with the general trend here- Mosley, by wide UD. He's just too good.

What was he when he faced Ramirez? THAT's the Camacho we should be discussing here.

That Camacho could very well beat Mosley. He's faster and has better movement imo. It may well come down to whether Mosley can whallop him hard enough and often enough to sap him of confidence and keep him defensive. If he can't the Macho man can outbox him and steal a close points win.

Camacho was indeed nearly punch perfect that night, and Ramirez was a very good fighter no doubt. But Camacho simply was not tested until he met El Chapo, and then he was found wanting some what.

I am guessing even if you fancy Camacho to win this, you would accept it would be far from easy? If that is the case, we need evidence of how the fighters performed when things did not go as well as expected in their prime.

Camacho ran against Rosario; Mosley sucked it up and beat de la Hoya (fight one). Camacho got pasted but took his beating like a man against Chavez; Mosley did the same against Forrest (fight one).

The conclusion must be the edge goes to Mosley. Both could school very good fights and win at a canter, but Mosley's prime ticker was a little bit stronger, and that would be the difference IMO.

Well, I'm assuming these sort of discussion exist in the realm of "Prime vs. Prime". Considering as Duran got more experience, he beat DeJesus comfortably two times, that we can assume that DeJesus didn't beat the best of Duran.

I wasn't inferring that the other fighters 'couldn't' defeat Duran, on any given night, but if forced to put everything I own on the line in a hypothetical match up, I bet Duran easily at 135 against even Whitaker and Williams.

Good points and I agree with you T, Mosley's heart will probably carry the day. I'm not totally convinced of my pick though. I can see the opposite eventuating too, with Hector's speed and movement giving him the points win.

I honestly think hector has the better resume between the two fighters.

Hecotr is faster, he has a better chin and his handspeed is superior too, at 135 i see him handily beating mosley and busting him open.

Hector may be faster, but I'm thinking Shane has more pop, and Hector will feel it when he connects.Mosely beats Camacho by a 8-7 unanimous decison.

Tough fight to pick...leans towards Mosely being able to surprise Camacho with his own speed, and being more physical (ie body punching) down the stretch. Mosely dec.
