Who is hearns always last on these threads, I feel its unfair how the whole thing played out with him being the least rated.
Success from welter to cruiser, knocked duran out cold, 1-1 vs leonard and lost to a prime hagler in a war.
Leonard wanted nothing to do with hearns 2 or hagler untill he thought he could win yet he always gets much more credit.
Thomas hitman hearns deserves more respect since he is cut from the same cloth as guys like duran or morales, guys who love to fight and make people happy.

This was really tough, they are all LEGENDS. You cant even rank them honestly, this was the golden age of the welterweights and each guy was absolutely AWESOME. What I do know is, i go to the Boxing Hall of Fame in Canastota every summer and his year im going to be cheering for The Hitman, well deserved!!!

It has to be leonard since he beat all 3 of those fighters and made duran quit in the rematch and tko a prime dangerous hearns and beat hagler in which nobody thought leonard had a chance.

No, it doesn't have to be Leonard. Only in the Fab 4 comparisons, but not when comparing their entire careers.

Im having a hard time w/hearns and hagler and who should be higher. Hagler was very dominant and beat hearns but he stayed at one weight class. Hearns was able to move up and capture titles in different weight classes.

Aye. Duran fares worst when comparing them head to head, but that's to be expected of a natural Lightweight taking on Welter/Middles, and when past his prime at that.

All things considered, Duran takes the cake.
