well, if Bute loses that means he was all hype and never was on Wards level. :yep

 

So then we shouldn't care about Bute taking a stay busy fight against a guy coming off a lopsided losss to an injured *****? You and I both know damn well that Ward is the truth and would easily the the best guy that Bute has ever faced. Deriding Ward as a ***** only makes Bute's career look sorry considering he's never beaten a guy that was even half as good as Ward.

 

Ward is being a hypocrite. He said in front of cameras that he respects the guy, but that he needs to make the "right decision" with his team. He also said in May that S6 champ vs Bute was THE fight to make.

Why didn't he even tweet that to Bute's face?! What kind of low blow is that???

Ward is the truth. Great counterpuncher, awesome footwork & handspeed. But he's a hypocrite which, in my book, gives him a ***** attitude.

Froch is A level and top 4 in the division, Bute is on his way to "beat somebody".

 

I think ward beats him anyway but we will see, to go any further though ward needs to move up and quickly, no need to stay at 168.

If he does stick around for a year or two more though, something I would love to see, is pavlik fighting on again, winning impressively and fighting at 168.

Hilarious how people are calling Ward a ***** and accusing him of "careful matchmaking" when he just came out the winner of the toughest line-up in his weight division. Further evidence that success breeds critics.

Everybody knows I never put Ward down before on ESB with *****-related posts. This one tweet made me lose 90% of the respect I had for the guy.

I still respect his abilities and in-ring craftiness 110%.

 

Wards a great fighter and very well might beat Bute but he's been acting like biatch ever since the end of the S6 where he only beat 2 good fighters, one that was injured. I hope Ward will actually fight Bute after Bute whups Froch.

you're a good poster and I agree that Wards the truth and very well might beat Bute (he'd have to be the slight favorite if they fight) but I disagree with this. Ward has already had much more trouble with 2 common opponents than Bute has (Bika much more trouble than Bute, and Miranada who Bute destroyed) and I gurantee Bute looks better vs Froch as well. Doesn't mean Bute's better, he's just much much more powerful and flashy, he's got a style that crushes opponents and dominates them whereas Wards got that win ugly at all costs by being tactical and roughing you up inside approach. Bute will always look better against like opponents they both beat.

 

You're not the only person in the thread. Read the other posts if you found mine to have made unsubstantiated remarks.

 

Maybe you misunderstood me. I said that Ward would be easily be the best fighter that Bute has ever faced. If you can name me one fighter that Bute has fought that is anywhere near is good as Ward, then you can tell me I'm wrong.
