if Kirkland wins vs. Molina should he go straight ahead to a rematch vs.

Fighting Angulo and Molina is "protected"? Are you being serious?

Angulo was his sink or swim fight. Molina is a guy who is very credible but he does not have big power. In a sense it is a safer fight than a guy like Lara who can box and crack.
Canelo has alot more tools to take on the 154 pounders division than Kirkland.

bro, Kirklands last opponent was Angulo and his next is Molina. 2 younger fighters with winstreaks compared to Canelos last oppenent a terribly washed up version of cintron and next opponent a shot-to-**** mosley.

    whos really protected here?

Canelo is YET to face a top5 ranked JrMW. If I'm not mistaken, both Angulo and Molina are. If not, close. So who's protected? But that aside, when Canelo and Floyd win come may, you can bet your ass they are next to fight one another in September. GBP wil not put Kirkland and Canelo together. Not yet. Maybe after Floyd dispatches Alvarez. But right now, Canelo vs. Mayweather is what they are working towards.

So for Kirkland, after Molina (which isn't a guarantee), maybe match him with Quillon, another one of their guys.

Mayweather vs Alvarez in September could be hard to make considering Mayweather might not get out of jail until August. Mayweather vs Alvarez is a year away, at the least, IMO. Alvarez should be fighting Vanes or The Kirkland/Molna winner next.

holy ****, cant believe im agreeing with lance. but anyway lets pray GBP is not that stupid. why put an almost guaranteed L on your future cash cows record?

and as for Kirkland fighting Quillon next, that would make it really seem like GBP is trying to get Kirkland to lose so they can say Canelo doesnt have to fight Kirkland. yes, people say Kirkland is a shitty boxer with a weak chin, but hes also dangerous and GBP sees this too. his win over Angulo should have been more than enough to get him his shot.

Kirkland will be the better fighter if they go head to head.

If Kirkland wins, as a fan I'd like to see him in against either Canelo or PWill.

A Martirosyan fight won't happen as he is with Top Rank.

I'd be wary of putting Kirkland in with Lara. Actually, I'd be wary of putting anyone in with Lara.

I doubt Canelo fights Kirkland. Sounds like Canelo was promised a Floyd fight next year if he agreed to fight in Vegas on the Floyd undercard as opposed to doing the split site headlining thing again. A Kirkland fight is too risky in the meantime.

I'd suspect we see Canelo in with someone like Delvin Rodriguez. Or maybe against Angulo down in Mexico.
