Why do Puerto Rican fighters seem to have Glass Jaws?

PR fighters seem to exist in a (not so) sweet spot. A combo of Black and Mexican fighters but neither at the same time. Many are skilled and athletic, but don't seem to be quite as fast, slick, athletic as US Black fighters. They do seem however a bit "tougher". They get drawn into brawls with the Latin machismo, but don't have quite the whiskers of Mexican fighters. They are usually faster/sharper though.

There are exceptions though and there have been many great fighters of PR descent. It makes the match-ups interesting.

 

Thats cause the style of most puerto rican fighters is to combine hard punching with boxing.
