I do - but I'm just saying Dereck can't really complain. He brought it all on himself. Nobody made him do any of that stuff. I just remembered him fighting with Fury ringside... I mean, ffs! Can he not just stop being a dickhead all the time? I can make it through a day without lamping anyone!
I do agree he needs to grow up quickly. And he does need to take responsibility for his actions (which he seemed to have done with the apology etc). But I hope he doesn't lose all his personality over it. You never know what he is going to do next which is somewhat intriguing. Dot forget, Roberto Duran is my favourite ever fighter. And he wasn't the greatest role model
The punishment was clearly based on the amount of press coverage not the actual offence. He got **** all for what he did previous and was set up/ encouraged to do more of the same for publicity. Actually Fury started on him and Chisora declined to get involved - a rare show of restraint by the lad! Probably because he was told not to hype up another promoters show
Well no. That's true. Dereck's apology... It was written by Frank's PR guy. Never heard Dereck say sorry and mean it.
Can Gsora not get a Latvian boxing license?? :think:think:think that is what Danny Williams used when he was shot And teh BBBC would not let him fight. :yep
point taken. It was a pretty poor attempt by the writer. S/He didn't even make it sound like Del Boy have written it!
It probably wouldn't have been so stern if he hadn't of bragged that the last time they fined him it was only "chump change" to him. £20,000 and he's laughing at them before he had even challenged for the British Title. He's brought all of this on himself.
all chisora did was walk up to talk to haye, man to man face to face and he ended up getting glassed by the ***** haye. warCHISORA!!
G'z :smoke This content is protected http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/boxing/17375000 Gsora will NOT be denied. :bbb
He wasn't just fined, he was also banned for four months, missing out on a British title shot. Furthermore he was warned about his future conduct. A warning he did not heed. Is that what we refer to women beaters as these days? What the majority of people don't seem to understand is that Chisora has committed a series of offences, which in isolation might've merited a fine or a small(ish) ban, but taken as a whole deserves an unsparing punishment. Just because others have escaped censure in the past doesn't mean the BBB of C should've been lenient with Chisora.
