Is there a shred of proof anywhere to back up any of this?

Its amazing the amount of drivel that people are throwing out here trying to defend Gamboa for what must have happened. Yet there is not a link anywhere to support any of it.

    wow....this guy wants ****in proof

he wants you to show photocopies of gamboas contracts and ****...lolol

listen...you dont have to believe it.....but dont start asking for factual proof here.....

both sides of the floyd/pac drama have their belief as to who is at fault....both sides can make arguments...but nobody has any ****in proof....and certainly no esb poster is going to provide it

:patsch Learn to comprehend English dip****. For all you know, Son of Cuba is posting nonesense. And this isn't Pac/Floyd thing clown. This is some poster claiming details on another's contract.

Its plausible to me. TR probably invested at least $500K-$1M in him so they want their return. Ohner probably invested 6 figures and wants a return as well.

What does Gamboa know about laws, contracts or verbal agreements? He's a boxer, not a lawyer. The only thing he should smack his head for is taking the $70K.

Yeah, 60% is a hell of a lot to have taken out of your pocket (if true). Both Oner and Arum taking 30% each, sounds a false, though :think. But if it's correct, then it's a deal he's been fighting with all along. Why did it have to become such a problem now? You can argue that it's because he's committing to the biggest fight of his life, but at the same time, it's being compensated by him being given his career high payday of $1.1 million.

How about a link to even Gamboa saying that this is the case?

Honestly i wouldn't be surprised if it was even worse. Fighters get routinely raped financially.

30% or not, he was still pocketing after that 30% 1.1 mill guaranteed for himself after the percentages.... he allowed PBF to make him think that he deserved more and honestly he probably did, but IT WAS HIM WHO SIGNED THOSE CONTRACTS.... no one forced him... He can't just up and leave them... sadly... not fair but true

    1.1 million - $660K(promoters) -110K(trainer)= $330K - taxes at 33% = $225K

    So he gets 20% left.

I just found this in another forum. It's a post from someone, so make of it what you will. He could be as clueless as any of us alot, for all we know. Though I'd throw it out, anway:

I seriously doubt Arum and Oner are taking 30% each.

I hope not also, thats inhumane. But I wouldn't be surprised. Your figures look reasonable for the fight business, I hope thats at least what Gamboa gets.
