    I assume that everyone here is also a Boxing Fan........so, my question is...between these two cards, at the same hour...which one would you prefer ???

    UFC Card

    Main Event

    -Anderson Silva vs Jon Jones

    Co-Main Event

    -Junior Dos Santos vs Alistair Overeem

    Undercard

    -Rousimar Palhares vs Luke Rockhold
    -Mark Hunt vs Mike Russow

    In terms of greatness the MMA card is probably a level above with Anderson and Jones (these two would be more to MMA history than Manny or Floyd IMO to Boxing History)......but damn...Manny vs Floyd I simply can´t miss.....Ward vs bute as well.....

    The boxing card.

    I would also imagine that boxing card is is worth about 10x more in terms of revenue so i am guessing most people would choose it.

    This is a trick question right??

    Pac v PBF as a stand alone fight is better than 10 of the best ever MMA fights on the one card.

    Manny Pacquiao v Floyd Mayweather Jr is the biggest possible matchup in combat sport at the present time bar none, and that's from a Spider Silva fan :good

    You can say that, but it´s all because of the hype......not because they are that great in an ATG sense, and I rate Pacquiao high....

    I voted "boxing card" anyway......but I´m not sure:think.....because I forgot something...Anderson is brazilian and this card would be huge here....

    They are both ATGs to me, yes......but what Im trying to say is that Anderson and Jones will be (that´s my feeling...I really think that) greater in MMA History than Manny and Floyd are in Boxing History..

    edit - possibly I didn´t explain this correctly.......I think that in 50, 60 years, whatever..Anderson and Jones would be viewed as two of the Greatest Fighters Ever in the whole history of MMA.....and althought I think Maywather and Pac are ATGs, I don´t think they are that Great, I mean, greats like Anderson and Jones will be (In my opinion they´ll be) in MMA......

    Within their respective styles I agree with you. Albeit just.

    But as a direct comparison, head to head, Manny v Floyd wins by a long way.

    And you can say that Jones still is not the number 2 in the p4p sense (in my opinion he isn´t).....so would not be a fight between the number 1 and the number 2 in the moment like Manny vs Floyd would be......
    But then again.....Floyd and Pac are number 1 and 2 (whatever the order) only because this era in boxing is nothing special IMHO....
