I'm saying when someone mentions the Taylor fights as a plus for Hopkins you think it's stupid because Hopkins lost both fights regardless of what 'they' think, but when you're trying to big up someones resume you'll throw in losses as plus points then claim they were 'robberies' so it's ok :nut.

This is patently untrue. Nice revisionist history.

Most figured Marquez would lose to Floyd. But many had the fight being relatively competitive, including myself. Most figured Mayweather would be inactive and that Marquez could snuff a 2-3 rounds or so. Mayweather was coming off a 2 year layoff, and had dropped 2-3 rounds vs Ricky Hatton.

Nobody, NOBODY envisioned Floyd putting on a masterclass, dominating every second of the bout so completely and dominating in such a fashion that Marquez retiring after the bout was no out of the question to many fans.

2 years later, an older Marquez, who has been dominating and KOing everyone BUT Floyd for the last 4 years, goes in the ring and completely hands Pacquiao his lunch.

Let call a spade a spade. Floyd just is that good.

I scored it for Mayweather, I though Mayweather won the 3rd and the 11th. Rounds Lederman had him losing.

I have no problem anyone scoring that fight for Castillo however.

If you believe that I'm being unfair, post rounds 3 and 11 and tell me there cant be a case for Floyd winning those rounds. :good

They both Beat someone smaller than them. JMM is a better fighter than Tito though. Although Bhop was a 2-1 dog against TITO.

Never ceases to amaze me how you can type while sucking off Floyd.
I will break it down into language you might be able to understand.

Who was the big favorite in the Hopkins vs Trinidad fight and who was the big favorite in Mayweather vs Marquez?

Was it also general consensus that Marquez looked like crap at the weigh in? yup.
Did Mayweather not make the weight and not even make ANY effort making it either after the first weigh in? exactly.

Mayweather is a ATG no question but Trinidad is by FAR the better win.

Actually looked it up Mayweather was over a 4 to 1 favorite to win, where Trinidad was about a 3 to 1 favorite to win.

No revisionist history taking place, just you glorifying your hero while being completely out of touch with reality as usual.
Its always sad when people are fans of a single fighter instead of boxing as a whole.

Hopkins vs Taylor arent viewed as clear cut robberies.

Whereas Oscar vs Tito, Whitaker vs Chavez, lennox vs Holyfield 1, ect ect are.

What so hard for you to understand? :think

For instance I dont consider Oscar vs Whitaker, Mayweather vs Castillo 1, Pacquiao vs marquez 2, Martinez vs Williams 1, ect ect robberies because a legit case can be made for the winning fighter to have deserved the decision.

There is no way in hell you could score Tito vs Oscar for Tito. Anyone who says that tito won is a tool.

    Gents and Scholars.

Not swayed by ***gots like SJS19 who go around saying Tito beat Oscar.

Although I know BigReg, KO KIDD, Threadstealer ect came to their conclusions with careful analysis without bias.

I actually do agree with this post whole heartedly, especially the last sentance.

People that say that Trinidad deserved to win because Oscar ran the last 3 rounds need to be dragged into the street and shot publicly as a example (kinda harsh but **** like this infuriates me)

Boxing is scored on a round basis, if you got 9 rounds in the bag you can dance about like a balarina for all i care, if you dont get knocked out you won.

Do I believe Mayweather is greater then Sugar Ray Robinson? Yep. Do I believe Mayweather is greater then Muhammad Ali? Yep. Name one athalete thats been dominating the game for 15 years without a loss. Name one athalete. Alright then.
