Both of those fighters fought the very best often numerous times.
Robinson did not go on vacation when he was called to fight Jake Lamotta (having to moveup in weight to do it)
When Ali was seen as signing his own death sentance to fight Foreman he did not ask him to take the test!

Mayweathers resume isn't even good enough to use as toilet paper for those 2, alright then.

Hopkins was the clear underdog against Tito, who was supposed to whip Bernard's ass and then move on to a superfight with RJJ. Mayweather was a heavy favorite against JMM, and nobody was surprised that he won that fight (although I was somewhat surprised that he made it look so easy).

I doubt it, you are actually on the level that you would believe your own drivel.

Hopkins-Trinidad. It's not ridiculous to vote Floyd-JMM though.

actually no. with the amount of *****s on these boards, i expected a higher vote for floyd. and looking at the names of who voted the floyd option, i'm not surprised to see that these are pure *****s.

it's ridiculous for the following points.

bhop was a 2-1 underdog against an undefeated trinidad. floyd is about 5-1 favorite against jmm and this is low for floyd since he is coming from a long vacation.

marquez has not fought at the weight and yet moved 2 divisions up to fight at catchweight of 144 only to find out that his opponent would be weighing the full 147 limit.

trinidad at the time was a much bigger name and undefeated. we have seen marquez get beaten by pacquiao and other boxers before and that was at or near marquez' prime/best weight.
