Sam ****IN Peter was BEATIN Wlad all around the ring. SAM PETER. Galento is easily more tallented and a harder puncher than SAM ****IN CAVEMAN PETER.
The argument loses a bit of a credibility when Wlad has been wiped out by a fat, semi-retired golfer AND has two losses due to exhaustion in 12 round bouts.
Which fight are you referring to? the one he was allowed to push Wlad down and punch behind the head. Peter's most effective punch. Either Klitschko brother would mutilate Louis. Louis was great in his time. This ain't his time. Wladimir beat Sam Peter remember?
Yeah, and the pitching mound was way higher and the ball was different. The mound was lowered and the ball was changed to allow for more homeruns which equals more excitement. It was harder to hit HRs back in Babe Ruths time. And he he way more HRs per game played than any modern player.
Let's not talk about ******s now. I hope you know the "vids" you mention are all out of whack speed wise. Sometimes the fighters look like they are on speed and sometimes they look really slow. Louis was WAY faster than any of the fighters you mention above. He had bone crushing power and most importantly he was a way better boxer. Louis would beat the living crap out of Lewis, Bowe and the Klits. I really hope you don't base your opinions on those old movie reels.
And you don't think the speed of the reel to reel isn't correct? Louis was lightning fast. Your lame reproduction of some old movie reel can't show his true speed. Look into it, the old movies are not useful for what you are trying to prove.
Conn was one of the best LHW's ever. Maybe the best. He was a boy when he lost to Schmelling and Schmelling was a very good fighter. Marciano was a great undefeated younger fighter. Louis was already washed up and Marciano knew it. That is why Marciano was so sad about fighting him.
you're right, reading some newspapers articles about his mythical footspeed and power is way better then watching some movies with the man at his best in action. It makes perfect sense, we shouldn't trust what our eyes see but should trust what some random boxing author wrote in a newspaper some 60 years ago. **** rationality, Joe Louis was awesome and he will beat all this modern lumbering giants because he beat Carnera and that's all what matters.
