    1) In my opinion, that fight wasn't close AT ALL - it was a boxing clinic.

    2) I disagree, I don't think he was badly hurt. It was sort of like when Marquez landed that right hand on Pacquiao in their 2nd fight (I think) and he got noodle legs for a moment. 9 fights out of 10 Mosley doesn't land that bomb. That was a Mayweather who was fighting for the 2nd time in 2.5 years and he was past prime himself.

Sugar Ray Leonard would easily beat Floyd Mayweather.

    1) Not a boxing clinic, by any means. Oscar was never hurt, came forward the whole time, was effective with his jab, blocked /parried many of Floyds punches. He made Floyd look pretty ordinary ... Pretty competitive considering where each fighter was at in their careers.

    2) Not really comparable, Pacquiao was hurt for like a split second then recoevered. Floyd took a bit to recover from that shot Mosley landed. He was stumbling around a bit afterwards. If a shot Mosley can land a punch like that a younger Mosley would have absolutely landed that at some point. He used to throw those right hands with a vegeance, and with WAY more speed and power then what he hit Floyd with.

Chavez at 135 I'd favour pretty clearly. 130 would be tougher, but I might still make him the slight favourite. 140 is a toss-up. Tyrone Everett might be a good dark horse pick.

De La Hoya at 135, 140, and 147 in his prime would stand a very good chance.

    Henry Armstrong anywhere from 130-140.

At Lightweight you've also got Lou Ambers, Beau Jack, Carlos Ortiz, Ismael Laguna, Ken Buchanan, Roberto Duran (at any weight), Esteban De Jesus, Rodolfo Gonzalez, and Pernell Whitaker (any weight), all of whom I'd give at least a good shot, outright favouring about half.

Duilio Loi and Eddie Perkins are two guys at 140 who could well turn the trick, and I might favour Loi, although those are more speculative without enough footage. Tippy Larkin is another who, stylistically, could give Mayweather fits.

I'd favour Wilfred Benitez at 140 and 147, and Aaron Pryor at 140.

At Welterweight itself you've got quite a few names: Mickey Walker, Charley Burley, Holman Williams (speculative), Ray Robinson, Carmen Basilio, Emile Griffith, Luis Rodriguez, Jose Napoles, Kid Gavilan, Billy Graham, Donald Curry, Marlon Starling, Carlos Palomino, Ray Leonard, Tommy Hearns, etc.

Guys like Felix Trinidad, Vernon Forrest, Ike Quartey, and Curtis Cokes would be decent to good dark horse picks to beat him.

I wouldn't necessarily favour all of these guys to turn the trick (although I'd favour most), but all of the names I've mentioned would've had at least a good shot, especially the further up in weight you go. I could name a few more dark horse picks, too.

I also don't think many guys would be dominant against him. Just to clear that up.

I agree. No way in hell Floyd wins one against Hearns even in 10 fights. Literally the worst match-up for Floyd (and most other fighters) in history.

    130: No one.

135: Benny Leonard & Pernell Whitaker. Neather win is easy and a Mayweather win is not out of the question. Both Leonard and Whitaker are greater career lightweights, but considering Mayweather's skills and the fact he's not only bigger. He's good at using his size to his advantage. I beleive that he has a strong shot here.

140: See 135. Mayweather, Leonard and Whitaker would beat anyone at 140.

147: Thomas Hearns, Ray Leonard, Fleix Trinidad and Ray Robinson. Hearns and Leonard beat Mayweather for certian. Trinidad can but it's not a sure thing. He has power and is often smart enough not to brawl which is mistake #1 against Mayweather. Robinson is a more talanted boxer than Mayweather and he should win. Robinson however tends to fight rather than box. If he fights Mayweather who is acatuly really good espicilly against fighters will take advantage and win.
