Went to Nottingham arena for the Froch vs Direll fight and I can say the atmosphere was superb (shame about the fight).

Got me an 7 pals goin up an having a day out in Nottingham on the sauce, going to watch the fight then tasting a bit of the nightlife then hopefully baggin me self a slag to take back to hotel as I hear Nottingham has the highest ratio of women to men in England. So I fancy me chances!!! :tong

Anyone recommend any good boozers in Notts?

 biggest myth going mate. It's more like the opposite. I meet so many lads on stag do's and I have to point them to the massage parlour because they find out it's more of a sausage fest than they thought.

Depends what you're after mate. If it's a nice day then check out the old trip, which is a really old pub serving local ales. Supposed to be the oldest in England but **** knows if it's true. You'll find the slags at revos. There is oceana, gatecrasher, and a few other clubs. Oceana probably has more dickheads though.

I won't be going to the fight as I'm broke, but I'm not broke enough to be unable to meet up with a drink with some of you lads. We'll see.

Olde Trip, Castle (these two for ale), then Orange Tree, Golden Fleece, Saltwater, then generic Revolutions, Browns, Living Room, Pitcher & Piano (nice one in a church), Fat Cats. I don't like it much but there's a tequila bar called Cucamara's some people like.

If the weather is good there are roof terraces at Saltwater and the Golden Fleece and you can sit by the canal at the Waterfront.

In the evening: Dogma, Tantra (with females) and clubs like Oceana, Stealth/Rescue Rooms (DnB/dubstep), Rock City depending on your taste.
