Lewis in devastating fashion, so devastating it would wreck Wlad's confidence forever and destroy his career as a top HW.
Hard to say, Wlad hadnt lost to Sanders yet and I doubt Lewis would just come right after him I suppose its always possible that he would catch Wlad but Wlad could always catch Lewis this really wasnt a refined Wlad but it was a dangerous and aggressive Wlad could turn out like the Briggs fight, short with both guys getting in shots but one of them eventually cant keep up or just gets caught
:-( Lewis always fought far more agressively against every big and aggressive opponent he fought. It was the shorter fighters he knew he could easily outbox with his reach that he stood off. Which means Lewis would go into this one in beast mode, looking to take the fight to Wlad. Wlad as you mention wasn't safety first back then so would have been there to be hit and against an aggressive Lewis, when you have the chin Wlad has... suicide. Before people start talking about Lewis's chin. He was down twice. First time he was up before the 10 count as a green fighter who got caught with a wicked punch. The second when fighting 5000ft above sea level after barely training and visibly fighting with his mouth open from the 3rd round through fatigue... you get hit with your mouth open by a HW and it's game over. lewis didn't have a bad chin at all and took many a big punch that would have rendered Wlad unconcious.
This version of Wlad is the version Lennox would decapitate with ease. The current version who is very much safety first would be far more difficult although I still favour Lewis.
You doubt Lewis wouldn't go right after him, even though that was the advice he gave Sanders? Lewis would heed his own advice at any point of his career, go straight for Wlad and most likely ko him. However I'm willing to accept that Wlad and Vitali could swap places without anyone realising and THAT Wlad would give Lewis a tough test.
