Baldomir was far more significant, but not necessarily the better opponent.

Pac-Clottey. Clottey was definitely a better fighter than Baldomir IMO.

Baldomir has always sucked! Clottey was good, he was always under the radar but a very good fighter!

Clottey was obviously paid off and fixed. As you see, Clottey has not shown his face around Boxing again. Why? He is probably still getting kick downs from Arum.

Clottey is the more talented opponent but he is more of a choke artist. He could maybe have beaten Baldomir and Margarito and Cotto. Against Baldomir he couldn't take the pressure and fouled out. Against Margarito he folded and against Cotto didn't let his hands go. Against Pacquaio he just didn't let his hands go

Both had good recent form, Baldomir had beat Gatti and Judah, where as Clottey had lost a close decision to Cotto and beat Judah.

I'd say overall they're on par, both a little underrated

When your fight come with free room, free buffet, and free limo ride from the airport...you know you're big.

It means you left. What does it mean when your eyes are crossed by a big left, or when you can't get up in 10 seconds from a vicious body shot?

Baldomir victory over Zab Judah was an armed robbery.
that never should have gone to Baldomir, he won 5 rounds.

No he's a lot better popkins. Only thing that makes the Baldomir win look good is that is was for the lineal championship but Baldomir shouldn't never been champ anyway, he got lucky against Judah. In terms of who the better fighter is though, Clottey is an A- fighter and good enough to beat the best. He's just had some rocky decisions and freak accidents in his big fights, fights that he would of won had it not been for those things.

    Pacquiao over Clottey.

I thought Clottey was robbed against Cotto and he is ultimately a better fighter then Baldomir.

I think Cotto is the only one who beat him out of the bunch and I don't think it was because he didn't let his hands go, I think Cotto made a good tactical adjustment in the later rounds because if you notice, the side to side movement that Cotto was giving him was starting to count down on his punchout put and Cotto was making him miss and countering.

His style worked against him. He was outworked in a fight he should have won against Margarito, and if he had stepped up the gas he probably could have gotten Cotto out of there.
