Lewis by KO. Holmes was always susceptible to the straight right, and Lewis probably had the best and most powerful one in the Heavyweight division. If he had Holmes hurt (which I think he would), I reckon Lewis pounces on him and seals the deal.

With that being said Holmes was extremely crafty, and a great boxer. So it wouldn't surprise me to see him outbox Lewis to a UD.

Holmes would have Lennox eating a lot of jabs and would certainly throw more punches than Lewis. I don't see Lewis cracking Larry's chin or outboxing him. Holmes could sting a bit and he'd throw quite a bit. I think he wins a clear but close UD with Lennox getting some big shots in and taking 4 or 5 rounds.

I think if Lewis gets to Holmes before the late rounds, he's finishing him. Lewis 'aint no Shavers or Snipes, he's a vastly superior finisher.

    Holmes.

He had a better Chin, better work rate, stronger mentally, better stamina, and more heart.

Lennox's only advantage is about 2 inches in height and 30 pounds in weight or so.....

Holmes maybe outpointing him, but the size power advantage seems to point to a Lewis stoppage. Prime Larry was hovering at about 200. Prime Lewis was 230.

Prime Holmes was about 210-215, he only weighed around 200 at the very start of his career.

My bad, I just assumed that you were some **** that makes over 500 posts a month in order to try to falsely inflate his knowledge of the sport. I was wrong. I guess, in actuality, you are just a wanker that has nothing better to do than to try to inflate the record of one of the most boring heavyweight champions in history. My apologies.

Lewis was bigger and stronger but the problem for Lewis would be that his best weapon his jab isnt as good as Holmes Jab. For this reason I believe Lewis would try and turn the fight into a dog fight and this is where I think Lennox being the bigger stronger and more powerful boxer would prevail by KO/stoppage.

Good post that and a feasible outcome.

It's very possible Holmes could win a decision because i don't think he would have the power to hurt Lewis. If they fought 3 times i'd pick Lewis to win 2.

    Two genuine top 10 atg's

Larry by UD with Lewis having more than a decent shot at a KO win, probably...

What did a prime Lewis' size do for him against the much smaller Ray Mercer ? I think people are not giving Larry his due his biggets weapons were his jab and ring IQ .

Well it was a learning fight for Lewis in a tiny ring which suited Mercer.

Lewis was pre-prime in this fight. Not physically but compared to the overall package he would soon become.

The thread does state prime v prime.
