He was with Manny I know that much and he got the most out of LL .Had it not been for Steward he would have acheived the level of success he had .

He weighed 9lbs less, i wouldnt say that is much smaller, especially since Lewis was forced to give up much of his height and reach due to the size of the ring.

Pretty much a 50-50 fight, i'd favour Lewis to get the job done due to his weight advantage and ability to really mix it up. Lewis would attempt to turn the fight into a brawl, i think Holmes would pick him off early and would pick up rounds but not at the expense of taking some heavy blows , Lewis would have more and more success as the fight goes on before finally getting the stoppage whilst possibly being behind on the cards.

Ring size would play a factor but I think Larry's Ring Iq is the reason this fight is 50 50

    Tale of the tape

    Larry Holmes
    6'3

    81

    Lennox Lewis
    6'5

    84

It would be a hard fight to predict no doubt, a smaller ring would favour Lewis, i dont think for one minute that Lewis would try and box Larry, if he did i think he would drop a decision.

Think about RENALDO SNIPES right hand then double its power and add it to a much larger and much more skilled guy ? That dont look to good for LARRY !!!!!:D

That's not relevant to this topic though.

Yes he was with Manny but it was Lewis' biggest spell of inactivity throughout his career, other than between Tyson and Klitschko.

Holmes, close decision... both at their best.

Think of a fat, 42-year-old Larry Holmes putting a clinic on Ray Mercer.
Think of Lennox Lewis going life-and-death with Ray Mercer.
That don't look good for Lenny.
