I like how *******s are using compubox and post fight pictures to justify a win.

however in the first 2 fights JMM landed more in both per compubox and also looked much better after both of those fights. Only time JMM had a cut in the previous 2 fights was due to a headbutt.
Why don't you post those pictures and compubox numbers??

no body is saying compubox is the key. but there is a pattern in this fight. and the manner of scoring is subjective.

you are being swayed by non aggressive/counterpuncher gun shy pac and the effective countering of jmm. but there is another part of the story.
study the compubox and the fight on why jmm started slow, did well in the middle rounds and faded in the latter rounds.

^ this. they were expecting pacquiao to murder JMM but when they saw a cuonterpuncher pacquiao and JMM had his moments it was like LOTTO jackpot for them.

Pac outpunched/outpowered JMM especially the first and last part of the fight.

    JMM was special though.

So with our mindset that Pac @143 can't KO Marquez would that help in our judging if ever there would be Pac-JMM 4? :bbb

We seemed to have watched a different fight. I saw Marquez backing up and making Pacquiao chase him. Pacquiao had no idea how to cut off the ring and was walking in a straight line. Every time Pacquiao threw a punch Marquez would pull back or step back, taking power off Pacquiaos punches.
Multiple times Pacquiao jumped in, leaving himself off balance and open, Marquez countered him.
Many time through the fight Marquez would make Pacquiaos head snap back.
The feints were beautiful. Marquez steps in like he is about to throw a punch and Pacquiao turns defensive. Marquez feinted a few times in a row and then clocked Pacquiao when he thought it was another feint.

That made it look bad for Pacquiao. Expectations were high and they were disappointed. Having a lot of haters mostly coming from you know what camp, didn't help also.

My assessment as well. I'm cool with people who scored it a draw or even a round or two up for JMM, but a lot of biased people (including many fighters) calling it an all time great robbery is just hate. Marquez fought great and shocked most everyone (wish he would have been that up for Floyd), and it was close yet again, but the champ did enough to win more rounds and keep his belt in my book, the judges books, the comp-u-box books, and in the history books. The end.

Here is a blurb from wiki on the fight controversy:

Even though Pacquiao won a close decision, most of the pro-Marquez audience believed that Marquez was the winner. Some of the audience reacted to the decision by hurling food, beer, and ice; a can of beer hit a ringside writer, though no record of any injuries exists. Among neutral (non-Mexican and non-Filipino) experts who provided their scorecards, 48 scored the bout for Marquez, 44 scored the bout for Pacquiao, and approximately three dozen scored it a draw. The Ring, which produces its own version of boxing's lineal championships, scored the bout in different ways: its editor, Michael Rosenthal, scored the bout 115-113 for Pacquiao; two of its writers, Lem Satterfield and Mike Koppinger, scored the bout 117-111 and 115-113 for Marquez, respectively, and another writer, Doug Fischer scored it a draw.

This was on the middle rounds.. :hey

Pac has been leading the fight 3 - 1 after four rounds.. :think
    Round 4 was a toss-up so it could have been 3 - 1, or 2 - 2..
Marquez won the middle rounds.. Pac won the late rounds..

115 - 113 for Pac, or 114-114 draw.. That's the way I see it.. :hey

My peeps all thought Marquez won. I thought it was close but I did think Pacquiao won. We all came away with the realization of something that we all pretty much knew when Pacquiao Floyd was brought up. Pacquiao can't beat Floyd.

It only means that one fight's result doesn't include the fighter's body language after the fight.. Look at Narvaez claiming he won over Donaire.. :rofl
