I'm sorry about this but, I am not a fan of him.. I heard a lot of him that made him look like a very big force @122.. I haven't watched any of his fight so I checked boxrec.. http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=492989&cat=boxer 9 fights with 7 KOs.. Not bad for a start.. But don't you think so many other boxers started their careers with so much better records and still ended up not a superstar in boxing? :deal Is he overrated, or is he something in the future? I just can't see him doing good with the top two in his division.. Your thoughts about him? :rasta
2 time gold medalist. he even got the #5 P4P guy Nonitoe runnin scared. as slick and black as they come.
Rigondeaux is the truth. I dont think Rico Ramos landed a single clean punch on him the entire fight lol
I just watched Rigondeaux vs Ramos and I'm quite impressed.. :smoke I'll watch Rigondeaux vs Cordoba next.. :smoke
I've been using this username in a lot of forums, boxing and non-boxing.. I just got fixated with this username.. I always get a lot of this comment in all combative forums(maybe cause it doesn't sounds like it belongs with combat sports).. It doesn't sound that bad, doesn't it?
Back to Rigondeaux, He's unimpressive with his fight against Cordoba.. Which gave me second thoughts about his fight with Ramos.. Against Cordoba he was a very defensive fighter.. :-( He almost lost it.. atsch Against Ramos, his first KD was a push.. Yeah he hurt Ramos with a shot, but then he can't finish him, he pushed him down.. If he didn't push him Ramos would have recovered and won't be KD.. In rounds 6, he pulled Ramos' head then hit him.. atsch A clear violation.. He knew he hurt him so he went with the finish.. Overall, I'm unimpressed with his boxing.. He's fast with his feet and has a decent punching power.. But he lacks in ring activity, why is he so tentative? :think Donaire and Nishioka would beat this guy.. Maybe Arce can pull it off too.. :bbb
The guy has a world title after 9 fights; I don't think there's that many fighters in the history of boxing to have a better record than that in 9 fights!
He's one of the best body punchers in the game right now. All of his KO's have been body shot stoppages.
Cordoba out-worked him and he pretty much froze for long periods of the fight when he faced adversity. Is he good yes. Is he a great pro fighter we'll find out when he faces another elite fighter.
