He's giving out some valuable information, why ban someone who actually have a relevant statement about a particular thread? I mean, if you can't stand it, you must have something to make him look like a troll.. :-(
look at it this way: would there have been as much controversy if marquez had gotten the decision? i think not...
Except for the middle rounds.. What other rounds? We can check that out and bring the video of the round here.. :smoke
You've obviously got a lot of belief in your scoring -- you should enter your card online at EyeOnTheRing.com, it's a site like fightjudge dot com where you can enter fan cards, except EyeOnTheRing is better because they have a controversy rating calculated by comparing fan scores and judge scores. http://eyeonthering.com/boxing/manny-pacquiao-vs-juan-manuel-marquez-iii Yes, I know my posts get ignored as I'm too noob-ish, but I still think it's a cool site.
facial damage and compubox are not relevant statement. Maybe they can score fights by tacking picture of the face before and after the fight and running some software to detect the change after the fight in %.
:good But still it shows a lot.. Pictures taken before and after the fight shows you the effectiveness of the punches.. Obviously, the most beaten up fighter loses the fight.. :think Well in some case no, just like Donaire - Concepcion.. But in most cases yes.. :yep Then the punches thrown and landed shows you who's the more aggressive one, who's in control of the fight.. It just so happen that we saw a different version of Pacquioa in their third meeting.. That somehow affect our way of judging the fight.. :smoke
The list of past and present boxers who felt Marquez won was overwhelming. I remember the list of all the collected tweets from the night of the fight and they were almost unanimous in favor of Marquez. I can't recall if the list included a single fighter who scored the fight for Pac, I honestly don't think it did. I can't think of one who has since voiced his agreeing with the decision in another article or interview either. 75% of fans also scored it for Marquez, which is astounding to get that sort of consensus especially when the deemed loser is the well liked icon that he is. Even more convincing when professional peers are in more agreement.
If 4 rounds to 8 is close, than sure. Several of the rounds were close, but even still, many were decisive and all of the decisive rounds were big rounds for Marquez.
Judges , stats, pictures and even replays show this was a close fight. Marquez dropped his output right down and was overly defensive, No risk no reward buddy and no robbery here
If you go into the fight with no idea off who they are or the odds or the crowd and commentators reaction, just score it rbr With an open mind then its closer than people thought right after similair to sergio vs pw 1 or bhop vs pascal 1 but with the exeption that there seemed to be a clear winner which was jmm imo, 116-113 or 115-113, 116-112 and 114-114 are also options imo but thats about the best it got for pac. I would have been content with the trilogy ending 1-1-1, seems the most fitting.
