They're probably dead, or think of them as some sort of a modern versions of Carnera and Willard or some crazy **** like that.

my opinion is that the boxing world need s a new division since the biggest boxers are getting bigger.

The Klitmen should be recognised as bonafide fully recognised 'superheavyweight' champs, otherwise putting them against small HW ATGs is basically just cheating, like putting a middleweight in the ring with a feather.

You do know there was the same size difference between Wladimir and Haye as there were between Ali and Patterson dont you?

    no i dont!

though its not a big suprise, since I was aware that Pattz started out as a MW.

    thanks for the info though.

I mean, letting Haye in with Klitz is a bit of a joke in my opinion. How was Haye going to get near this giant, he should have stuck to CWs.

Of course they'd be mismatches, and only the blindest and most delusional posters would argue otherwise. Like another poster said, put a gun against everyone's head and ask them to pick the winner and they'll go with a Klit every time.

Louis would not only be at a massive physical disadvantage, he'd be at a stylistic one as well. He was a flat footed fighter, who leaned his body forward with his lead hand low, push-jabbed his way in to close quarters in order to do his best work, and relied on his opponents not clinching him up when he did so. He lacked decent head movement, was very hittable even by average punchers and tended to get hurt easily. He was liable to be outboxed by anyone with a good jab and understanding of distance as he was by Walcott and Conn, and couldn't fight going backwards (which apparently is seen as a virtue by some posters).

The few big fighters he fought were frankly awful, robotic oafs who lacked coordination or the boxing brain to maximise their height advantages. Baer especially went straight in to Louis's comfort range, ducked down to Louis's level and began banging away on the inside. Yeah, that was smart. Carnera at least tried to box on the outside but was far too slow and awful to make it work. Simon? I can't even be bothered to go into how awful that oaf was. To compare any of those guys even to Vitali (who's robotic and awkward himself, but has the virtue of not being ****) is frankly ludicrous. To compare them to Wlad? Oh dear... :-(

I'd hate for a time machine to be invented that would let us watch this mismatch in reality. Because the sound of the bubble bursting would deafen every eardrum from here to Timbuktu.

    ...five years after this fight.

And people have the nerve to belittle Sanders.

Some of the posters complaining about Wlad's excessive clinching also sing the praises of Jack Johnson! Notice the 2 handed holding by Jack throughout many of his fights? Practically every fighter from back then fought flat footed too.

The size difference could be too much for Joe Louis.

If they fought a trilogy, I think Wlad wins twiice and Louis once.
