Too bad he didn't decide to emulate SRL's willingness to fight anybody and challenge himself against the best fighters. But, then again, it's easy to see why he never wanted to test the waters with punchers because his Chin is absolutely pitiful, one of the worst in Boxing.

Pazienza was a boxer from a different era. But Toney and Hopkins are great wins

I'm not a big RJJ fan at all and I know that he beat a lot of overmatched opponents but Hopkins and Toney are ****ing ATGs

I dont get why do you chin checkers constantly talk about how Jones cherrypicked yet your favorite fighter Floyd Mayweather constantly does it?

It should tell you something that the only people who can't acknowledge RJJ's greatness are all trolls. Who I personally despise, never understood the humor behind trolling, but there you go.

Myth. He fought whoever there was to fight, and it wasn't his job to go chase Darius and all these other assholes who liked to talk a big game but refused to come to the US to fight the fighter of the decade and the champion of their weight class. A lot safer for them and their fans to talk about what could have been. What WOULD have been is that RJJ would have decimated them completely, and overnight they would have also turned into 'cabdrivers' and hopelessly overmatched opponents who RJJ never should have fought in the first place.

awesome fighter. every generation there is someone born with heightened reflexes beyond their peers, RJJ was his generations. well, obviously not the greatest chin, but face it, Ottke, Calzaghe and Darius would all get knocked out if they fought when shot. Not quite sure why I am mentioning cheating Ottke, but hey.

besides him, theres noone alive who could beat both prime Toney and prime Hopkins at that weight.

what the **** you talking about ****wipe? :patsch

the only reliable research was from jacob hall who conducted the test for indiana state and he quite clearly states that

    - jones thought he was being tested for stimulants and not steroids

    - jones was found to have 6 times the normal amount of testosterone in his system

    - jones twice ignored requests from indiana state to give a 2nd urine sample after the richard hall fight

    - indiana state could not prosecute jones because the testing that took place was only a pilot scheme to assess the costs involved with bringing manatory steroid testing into boxing 2 years later in 2002. in 2000, there was no law in place to convict roy jones.

these are the facts from the most reliable source their could possibly be in this case.

any bull**** you heard about ripped fuel was simply a line / excuse that roys attorney came up with in his defence 4 weeks after the fight. jacob hall said that there was no proof that jones having 4 times the amount of testosterone in his system was caused by ripped fuel.

jones was given 2 further opportunities to clear his name after the richard hall fight but he ignored the requests for further sampling of his urine.

so you want to ignore the fact that the very 1st time roy jones was drug tested in his career that he had 6 times the normal amount of testosterone in his system?

you think that was a one off? that roy jones thought richard hall was some kind of phenom so he decided to juice for the 1st time in his career in that fight? :patsch

the only troll around these parts is you bernie bellend :deal

only a trolling fanboy would sweep under the carpet the proven juicing of jones and toney and pretend that anabolic steriod abuse in boxing is some trivial matter :nut

Yeah I was commenting on12 years of Roys heightened reflexes, not his muscle mass for 1 or 2 fights, so you have zero argument against my post. Steroids dont give you ultra-reflexes, you are born with them or you arent.

But whilst I've never ignored the fact that he used steroids once or twice, is this your reason for putting down the guy's whole career that was unprecedented (little-middleweight winning the HW crown, amongst the other 12 years of prime acheivements?).
