Prime as in the prime of his youth yes, but prime in terms of his skill as a boxer is from the Chagaev fight - Now

It's likely that he hadn't reached his absolute peak yet. However, after 40+ professional fights and a world title, I think it's safe to say he had already entered his prime.

    ----

Sanders beat a prime Wlad. It wasn't Wlad during his peak, but he had more than 40 fights and was 26 years old.

Wlad became a better fighter in 2006-2010, when he arrived to his peak. But he was in his prime when Sanders beat him.

    Also when Brewster beat him.

But not when Purrity beat him. THAT was a green Wlad.

So Wlad's "peak" is from 2006-present. But his prime is a different period?

That sounds a little ridiculous, sorry.

Agree, peak and prime are synonymous

Yes Wlad was experienced by the time he fought Sanders....he was neither green nor peak/prime.

The answer to the question then is no, Sanders didn't TKO a prime Wlad.

  8. Wlad is at his peak now since everyone good has retired or gotten old and Wlad still fights cautious! He should have dropped Mormeck in 1 but god forbid the old feather fist frenchy lands a punch on that ***** chin.

Physical prime? Yes, but he has improved as a fighter considerably since then.

The physical tools are the same, but he makes much better use of them now.

    No.

Wladimir Klitschko probably is in or is just out of his prime now.

He is a far different/better fighter now/couple years ago.

He beat a cherry-picking, protected, untested Wlad to pieces. Not a peak Wlad by any stretch of imagination.

Wlad has had an incredibly long prime. And while he's now starting to appear slightly past prime, I think he will remain undefeated late into his 30s, even possibly into his early 40s.
IMO, he started his peaking after the Mercer fight. And was in top form during the Brock or Brewster 2 fights. While he has continued his dominance since without flaw, those where his physically prime years. From about 2002-2008. But like I said, IMO, he's so much more gifted than the rest of the division, he won't be beaten or even nearly beaten(with the exception of the chance KO) until he is possibly 42/43.:deal
