Arum made the mistake of putting Pavlik in with Martinez first time round, thats why he has refused for chavez to fight Martinez

if you honestly think Pavlik can beat anyone let alone Martinez then your sadly mistaken

Sergio via KO second time round, Pavlik is done

Pavlik is not done, I understand why some people like yourself think he is. He is training what seems like everyday now and working very hard and he is not even 30 yet!

If you watched that Jack Loew video you will see after he beat Taylor he started drinking more and his training was poor. Now he is working hard. I don't know why you don't think Pavlik can't be a hell of a lot better then he was in his first fight vs Martinez.

It will be a good competitive fight but keep in mind that Sergio has grown into a real MW and he is really going to hurt Pavlic this time.

just stop!!! Pavlik needs to prove himself, his last outing was a bloody embarassment, we have no clue where Pavlik is right now, you can't assume he's back to pre-B-Hop form based on him moving to california. Absolute peak Pavlik struggles with Sergio, I'd still give Sergio the edge, Pavlik has no defense for that left and the speed difference is huge but me thinks we'l never see Pavlik anywhere near his pre B-Hop form again, I'm sure he can look better than his Alfonso Lopez performance but it's gonna take a peak Pavlik to beat Sergio and I doubt we'll see anything near that from Pavlik again.

I honestly doubt it, your a die hard Pav fan I get it but Pavlik moved up to Super Middleweight because he couldnt handle middleweight anymore, Martinez was just too good.

Pavlik has always really been one dimensional and besides a big punch he hasnt had much going for him

after the Taylor fights he went onto fight Calzaghes stable mate Lockett and thought he could catch Hopkins on the slide and got Lacy'd and since he hasnt really shown much to prove himself as a fighter

He stopped Rubio which ill give him credit for and I do believe if he came in on form hed beat Chavez but Chavez would get beaten by Macklin

Martinez is and will be the best Middleweight until age catches up with him, Chavez will continue to duck him and he will more than likely resort to fighting Cotto/Alvarez at LMW

Martinez is a good fighter I just think that Pavlik had some things slowing him down the first time they fought. Martinez might do a little better in the rematch in 2013 then I think.

I am in no way over rating Martinez but considering his size and the fact he has been knocking everyone out at Middleweight since the Williams rematch is not something to take lightly

Pavlik is ok, im not denying that but to state that he would destroy Martinez just because hes stopped drinking? Pavlik would fold this time around, he doesnt move his head and would get hit constantly by the punch that Martinez stopped Williams with until hes on the floor in a bloody heap, Martinez will just dance around Pavlik landing that shot until boom, lights out.

He is far too stationary to beat Martinez, Macklin had some success because he moved, ducked and used his feet to avoid Sergio, Kelly is too big to be doing that and Martinez will just wait for him to plod around the ring like he even did in his prime and it would be a brutal knockout

Stopped drinking plus training hard is why I think Pavlik can beat Martinez. That video with Jack Loew being interview Loew said after Pavlik beat Taylor getting Pavlik to train was an absolute joke.

Not properly trained and drinking to the point where he had to go to rehab during training and weight drained Pavlik was beating Martinez till he was cut.

Pavlik is only 3 months removed from his last DUI/OVI. It's premature to say that he destroys anyone.
