i was thinking the same, could see him winning again, then would it be too late to join in with macklin, barker and murray?
Defend the EBU title as much as he can, it pays good £££ so defend it and hope a world title shot comes calling in 8 months time. Barker/Murray/Macklin all beat him IMO, He was excellent last night but Proska's style and mentality helped make job a tad easier. I think the others would be to much for him..
If he beat Proksa for a second time it would give him a more valid argument to join in with Barker and co, imo, I thought Proksa was really poor last night but would be better in a rematch for some reason?
Massive respect for Kerry Hope, surprised everyone and with hardly any punching power seemed like he hurt Proksa at times.
Thought Proksa won, glad for Hope though. Get a few defences in against kak opposition and earn some money.
Ordinarily I think he would, but given that he's got a couple of mouths to feed at 160 already, he need not bother. Plus, why should anyone bend over backwards for a lad who has had it all his own way from day dot, and probably earned more for his pro debut than Hope earned in his first ten fights? Oh, and Frank laying in to Eddie at every opportunity for putting his top names in risky fights, that if they won would have made them genuine stars. I think it'll be an easy defence first with Proksa on the undercard, then they'll have a main event from Sky (and rightly so going by last night) for a return.
Rematch hopefully. And is Hope even with Matchroom? Think he's a VIP fighter (unless Eddie got options after last night).
I would imagine Hearn has options he was with him in the interview. He is mandatory for the British title which I would imagine Murray will vacate soon.
