His fighters always lose. His history of fighters that have him for one fight lose sack him then go on to great things is unrivaled.

If Roger Mayweather can get hired as a trainer than there is no reason Buddy can't get hired !

Coz he's one of the best in the business or so says nazim richardson, freddie roach, james toney and manny steward.

its not his fault he's usually in situations like mayweather-gatti and martinez-macklin,

and dont forget macklin gave sex bomb sergio hell.

I found it laughable that Paul Malignaggi blamed his loss to Hatton on McGirt, McGirt said all the right things and Malignaggi fought like a scared moron, did everything McGirt told him NOT to do, then blames the loss on buddy

Man, it seemed like at one point there that aging fighters would get him for that last paycheck fight. haha. If it ain't lookin' even a little bit good, he'll get ya' out of there.

Whenever Mack tried to throw the left hook he was getting blasted by Sergio's faster, more accurate straight left. Buddy told him to throw more left hooks, and that's what got him put on his ass.

Buddy is a fine trainer, he just usually has the underdog in big fights. This is a fact.

Macklin was a 10-1 underdog. His guy fought better than that, what more do you want?

No trainer in history was going to take Macklin to a win unless Sergio got old, real old, in the fight.
