Martinez is boring and is not elite

I'm being totally serious dude, perhaps Lee will fight Martinez next and then we will see

 

I like Sergio as a fighter, and he seems like a really good dude-- the type of dude all fight fans could root for.

However, he is a bit overrated here at ESB. While a very great fighter, he is not an all-time great by any means.

Moreover, I think most can agree that Priog would be quite competitive with Sergio should they ever fight.

I like Bradley but he hasn't beaten anybody as good as Paul Williams. Williams in his prime was a good fighter.

 

That fight wasn't even close. Sergio broke down his man and brutally stopped him. All you hating are just trying to find a reason to hate.

Stop holding your fighters to unrealistic expectations.

 

I will be shocked if Mayweather ever fought Martinez at 154. Martinez put on a great performance vs Macklin. I enjoyed every minute of it.

147 Paul Williams was a good fighter....above that, not so much. No power and his chin diminished.

Hes got great athleticism, speed and power but lacks fundamentals and gets troubled by basic boxing. 2 close fights between British/European level fighters in a row before the KO, lost first time vs PW, draw with Cintron robbery or not. He has very good power but thats it.

You want to see elite look at PBF/Pac/Ward/Wlad/Donaire - Those guys are elite because they make all the other top guys look like they dont belong in the same ring, pretty much a shutout every fight. Granted Pac had a very tough fight vs JMM but JMM himself is elite.

 

All this coming from a person that says James Kirhland is a better puncher then Felix Trinidad! You lose all credibility with that statement!

 

Many people thought Alexander lost to Kotelnik. Peterson win though is a good win.
