Martinez didn't dismiss the possibility of going up in weight to fight Ward and others, anyone could do that (put on weight and to up) but we talking about his natural tendancies and abilities to weigh less. So this is still a case of a head butting buffoon home town only fighter calling out smaller guys. Let ward come down to 162 catch weight and fight or better yet, why doesn't he stick to his principles and ask Sergio to gain the right to fight him at 168 so Sergio needs to establish himself at 168 first with notable fights and then fight this SOB.........ward the fraud

If the plan is to land a Mayweather fight at 154, why the **** would he wanna go up to 168? The dude is trying to stay around his natural weight. Not to say a fight with Ward wouldn't be great to see, but it makes no sense to make a guy move up when he obviously has other plans.

Just like Ward not wanting to solidify his supremacy in 168 doesn't make sense. Dude wins the Super 6, turns down a chance to unify with the other undefeated champ and instead goes to a MW fight and claims to be ready to fight the top "middleweight." Ummm....

    OP is a dumb ***** ******.

Floyd's not a small welter. Dude's fully grown into the division and has bulked up quite nicely.

OP doesn't want Floyd to get sparked out by Sergio.

    :rofl

 ***** please. how about a Pac fight with sergio?

"bu.. but Pacs too small":| even tho he fought margacheato @ 150, a weight sergio claims he can make.

***** ass pac fans have no room to talk in this thread, their guy got schooled by a 38 year old lightweight FFS :rofl:lol:. i have no problem with floyd schooling sergio, just dont like the ****** ass double standards when it comes to Ward.

Ortiz supposedly outweighed Floyd by 15 pounds... yet does it look like it all? NO. Floyd also supposedly weighed in at 149/150 on fight night... which is only 2 pounds heavier than...

he 100 % to small for ward, direll or any other top sm.

ward weight 76,2 kg in his last bout
martinez weight 71,4 kg in his last bout

    ward is 6'0
    martinez is 5'10

and ward is more of a small sm compared to bigger guys in the division like froch or kessler.
