    Yes.

But what does *prime* mean to you? Skill level? Physciality? Both?

That is the variable in this question.

But I say yes, he was in what most would see as his *prime*, and he got taken out in dramatic fashion, too. I don't believe in excusing a loss and blaming it on someone not being in their *prime* or not being interested, or losing sight of their focus, not being properly trained, blah blah blah.

Wlad got his ass and chin handed to him in that fight, and he was in the early stages of his prime years, I would say, yes.

But now, I would say most everyone would heavily pick his current level as being light years ahead of what he was when Sanders embarrased him, so its a gray area.................

But again, no excuses. He was taken OUT in what most would call his prime.

Clearly not - Wlad has only been Prime (and coma-inducing boring) since Manny got his mitts on him. Voted No but I still think Sanders is the Norton to Wlad's Ali (or JMM to Pacquiao) ie. the Corrie Sanders who KO'd Wlad then still KOs this Prime Wlad now. He landed some pretty big shots on Vitali and Wlad don't have Vitali-level chin.

Wlad wasn't in his prime, and anyone that thinks so is a moron.

Wladimir Klitschko in the 1st Sam Peter fight wasn't in his prime, in the 2nd one he was. That's enough proof right there.

Watch Sam Peter I, and Lamon Brewster 1

Then watch the 2nd fight when Wladimir is in his prime and has Manny Steward as a trainer and proceeds to ass **** them.

Wrong, Wladimir was not in his prime. Without Steward as his trainer, Wlad looked totally different and didn't utilize his ATG defense.

There is no excuse for that loss, but it seems like Wlad of today is better, thanks to improved skill.

Wlad wasn't in his prime until he had a haircut.

I think the imbecile is the one who doesn't use any evidence and counts it as an argument.

He didn't really reach his fighting prime til he started having famous pieces of ass like Haydenne and that super model Karolina Kurkova in the crowd cheering him on.

A guy can't allow someone to give him The Sanders Treatment with a famous hot babe in tow.

Just out of curiousity; do you believe Wlad has improved since Sanders sparked him?
