Dibella - if no Chavez Jr., it'll be Andy Lee or Daniel Geale

Over at the scene. He says when Pirog or Golovkin are brought up, 'No, because they bring no money. He'll beat them but they bring nothing. With Lee, I can bring him back here and sell out the place. With Geale, he can speak English.' The same **** that we give to Arum should apply to this guy, Douchebella.

DiBella is a idiot and Sergio is the "cash cow" that isn't. LOL.

Hope it's Lee. I don't understand why he says Pirog brings no money when he was promised like 3 million if they fought, isn't that more than what he makes usually?

The Pirog payday would have been a career payday. Sergio doesn't want to fight an actual good fighter in the division.

Can't believe they had the nerve to even ask for 6 million.

Out of Chavez, Lee, Gaele, Pirog and GGG the more obvious choice is Chavez for the payday. But its bs about the not speaking English, what does that have to do with boxing? Chavez doesn't speak it neither does Sergio. On what Dibella is right though is that neither Pirog nor GGG bring anything to the table. If people here critic because Sergio doesn't sit people imagine how it would be if he fought two basically unknown fighters. If Martinez is not known by your casual fan muchless will be Pirog and GGG. So on a business perspective Pirog and GGG don't stand a chance specially without having fans in the US. Lee is Irish and Chavez has all the Mexicans too. Gaele, I don't see that one happening either. That is the bad side of boxing and its not only Dibella but TR and GBP pull that **** too.

Pirog brought a career high payday of 3-4 million guaranteed for Sergio in a huge fight in Moscow. What does Sergio bring to anyone at 160?

Sergio is an HBO fighter and the ring champion. Unlike those guys that you mentioned he climbed the rankings by fighting though ranked fighters. Golovkin doesn't have signature win and Pirog best win is against Jacobs. They are both somehow not very active and when they fight they fight guys outside of the top 10. I'm a fan of both but they need to shut their mouths and fight more often. This is especially true for Golovkin who really needs to be active.

That said even if Segrio is to KO Pirog tomorrow you will say that he has to fight Golovkin and if he KOs Golovkin you will say that Golovkin was unproven. So it's always best to fight for the better pay-day than for the recognition of the 'hard-core fans.

Sergio is the ring champ and is linked with HBO but has no fanbase, no drawing power, and is disparately in search of a payday. He isn't climbing any rankings he is the MW champ, and like I said yesterday, that anyone could have him ranked ahead of Bradley and Ward is ridiculous on its face.

Pirog offered Sergio a career high payday of 3-4 million for a fight in Moscow, Sergio turned it down. Instead he would rather beg for a fight with two small WWs at a catchweight so he can cash out with maybe a 6 mill payday.

    He is pathetic.

He doesn't even try to fight the best in his division, he is only looking for a quick and easy payday.

Pirog's super generous offer came with no American TV. The marginal amount of additional money fighting him in Russia would bring is completely negated by the fact that it does absolutely nothing to raise his profile and would be for a belt that he swore he'd never fight for again. I'd further note that Macklin and probably Barker, the two guys he's gotten **** for fighting, would undeniably be the best opponents Pirog has ever faced.

I'd say Danny Jacobs was better than those two bums easy. I'd also add Pirog would be the best fighter Sergio would have faced at 160, easily.

As for no US tv who cares, Sergio says he is trying to get a payday, well get it. If he goes to Russia beats Pirog, goes to Austrailia and beats Geale, he would be in a lot better position to setup a huge unification bout against someone like Chavez Jr. or Sturm.

He would be in the driver's seat in terms of his career instead of looking for handouts by trying to beg WWs to fight him at ridiculous catchweights like 150.

He'd be making about twice his career best purse, but there's the risk of losing a hometown decision and the prospects of big fights down the road. He shouldn't get any flack for passing on this. But I disagree that Barker and Macklin are better than the Jacobs that Pirog fought. And I bet you would have been with me before he got KOed.
