Andre was intimidated, scared and his fear led him to hang onto Carl for dear life in some moments. However, it cannot be denied he outpunched Carl and Carl was clearly troubled by his inability to land a solid punch on Andre. Who would win today? Froch has grown as a fighter somewhat since that fight and would stand a good chance against dirrell.
Froch pulled Dirrell down. If anything it was Dirrells clowning and trying to be cute that let him down. Dont know where you get fear from. Although given Froch was allowed to body slam Dirrell in the 5th with no reprocussions and continually land rabbit punches if i was Dirrell i would have been afraid fir my safety.
Don't know who takes it, but Dirrell will run, whine and ***** all night. :deal I don't have to see this one.
Dirells style of fighting was unappealing that night. He was moving alot. Even considering how evasive he was an unappealing that kind of style was.... he still beat carl froch. Carl Froch was completely ineffective. Shocking decision. It doesn't matter if he fought like a *****.... Carl simply didn't land enough to justify the decision even with andre refusing to engage like that.
I am presuming you are all american, because that is some ridiculous bias! it would be like me saying froch beat him in all 12 rounds, dirrell is over rated and you all over rate his performance, it was the kind of fight what if it was in america he would have won, fact is he wasn't, close decision goes to the hometown fighter. a rematch would be very simular, boring therefore will never happen as neither fighter has improved or got worse,
What has changed since then. He ran all nite from Abe, then faked an injury to avoid Ward, and essentially sat out for 2 yrs just so he wouldn't have to fight. Then he comes back and looks like a superstsar against a 41 y/o preacher. Froch on the other hand took all Dre could throw, and kept coming forward. Then he did the same v Ward. And now, showing balls of steel, he signs to fight the strongest and slickest SMW in the division. Carl wouldn't let him off the hook in a rematch. He'd pressure him, trap him and beat the back out of that poose.
Yes he was. I swear there was a moment where he even dropped to the floor to avoid a punch . I've seen guys run, duck, and even turn away slightly, but never fall to the ground like someone's waving a gun at them. His confidence and experience was severely lacking. Had too much respect for Froch. Only when he realized Froch ain't ****, did he open up and get the better of him. He could have won that fight had he done that earlier. Definitely takes him in the rematch.
Dirrell has boxed two rounds in two years. Who knows if he can make it to the level he was at again. Great waste of talent if the whole injury was made up. :-(
