How can you consider Vitali an ATG HW? It's bullsh*t

    I have never said that... Rocky Marciano was a great HW champion, and he would probably have beaten both of the Klitschko brothers.. But his fan boys called me a racist for saying that Ali would have beaten him..
    Yes, some of these fighters Holmes, Tyson and Bowe fought were flawed fighters, but they could fight.. They weren't talentless fatties like the HWs we see today, btw Wlad was stopped by Ross who was far worse than Douglas..

    People also call Liston a ATG he has exactly 1 defense over the guy he beat to get the title.
    Some things are subjective and some people rate H2H ability very highly and thats where Vitali tends to shine.

    Longevity should also be taken into account and Vitali at age 40 is not just scraping by hes dominating.

    Not saying hes high up there in the rankings but i can see why hes in the conversation.

    (Love seeing these newbie no post accounts supporting the OP btw, its not obvious or anything)

    No one calls Bowe ATG but like it or not his victory over Holyfield is bigger than any win of Vitali.

    but i see you are not fan of boxing at all, you are just in love with Wlad(not so much Vitali) and thats it you only post about them or to try downgrade champions from past just so you would make Wlad look great, get a life!!!

    He's quite clearly not a great fighter. He belongs, at the very most, with the likes of Jerry Quarry, George Chuvalo, Max Baer. I don't think he's a great fighter and, unlike his brother, he's not even 'very good'.

    he is approaching ATG status, but it will always be a contentious issue because when faced with a semi-shot HOF/ATG, he got his ass kicked substantially.

    So the theory that he couldnt handle another ATG is substantially backed up. If you cant beat or draw with at least one ATG then its difficult to call yourself an ATG,it sounds like whistling down the wind if you do.

    At least the Klittos are levelheaded guy and they dont claim to be an ATG themselves. The fault lies with some of his maniac fans who seem to be in love with the man.

    He's the long term #2 in the division who has never unified the titles & has lost against the 2 best opponents he faced

    His best win is a fat Sam Peter but is apparently a H2H nightmare for anyone according to his fans :huh

    All of this makes an ATG HW?

    Don't think he is an ATG but the steroid argument is funny because people will say he is a cheater and therefore cannot be an ATG but still list Roy Jones Jr, Toney, and Shane Mosley as ATG.
