    Basically, you're just betting that Chavez can take a serious beating.

    I don't know if that's the right way to bet on a fight...

    I mean, not only is he going to take a serious beating, but he's going to have to do enough damage to Martinez to convince judges that he won.

    Unless you think Chavez can outbox Martinez...

    who has jr ever faced that hits as hard as sergio,moves or adapts like him.I don't dislike jr as much as anyone but his biggest wins are point decision over zbik and rubio

    martinez looked sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo basic from rds 1-7 vs macklin, a guy that IMO is under Rubio, who was jr's last opponent....When martinez gets taken out of his comfort zone, he has no idea what to do...his power has saved him from a lot of close fights.....vs jr, he wont have that luxury since jr will be at his chest digging them guts all night.....

    But that's because Macklin saw how dangerous Martinez was and felt the power of his punches beggining in Round 1.

    Martinez didn't adjust until around the 6th round when he realized that Macklin was going to play it safe.

    Macklin did a better job at boxing than I've ever seen Chavez do before.

    So unless you expect Chavez to outbox him, he's going to be going RIGHT at Martinez and take the beating of a lifetime.

    So you got a guy that not only is going to take the worst beating of his life, but he's also got to win the fight.

    You honestly think Chavez can win by applying pressure?

    If so, then he's got one hell of a chin. But ****...I don't know if it's too smart to bet on a guy just because he's got a chin.

    i would rate macklin higher the rubio he damn sure fought smarter against martinez then rubio did against chavez. martinez gets taken out of his comfort zone when he is forced to go forward he is better boxing off the backfoot against agressive fighters like jr

    I like JCC Jr and think he's legit unlike most here but Martinez stylistically is just all wrong for him. Martinez beats him by UD.

    nobody has hit sergio how jr will....sergio can't fight on the inside for ****...jr will not give him the space he needs to get full leverage on his awkward punches....
