    But Italian Television has a bunch of these fights available.

    Ros went 15 rounds with Bugner in 1973, a bout which earned Bugner a lot of scorn. Bugner also stopped Barruzi and Dante Cane, but was severely criticized for the inefficient manner in which he won both fights. The bouts were one-sided but sloppy.

    As for the 1960s Italian guys you name, I know a lot of them developed huge winning records, but were often whipped -- even KO'd -- whenever they fought half-decent American journeymen.

    Italy's version of George Chuvalo, with a boxer/puncher swarming/mauling style.

    5' 11"
    215 to 225 lbs.

    42-16-2 (24 KO's)

    In 60-bouts, supposedly was never floored.
    Only stoppage, versus Mac Foster in 1971 in Zurich, Switzerland.
    Had Foster rocking and rollling in round 3 and was winning the fight
    until eating a Mac left hook in round 6.
    Was eventually stopped in Round 8 while on his feet.
    That bout was on the undercard of the Muhammad Ali vs. Jurgen Blin fight.

    If 'Bepi' had won that fight over Mac Foster, he would have gotten a Title Shot versus Joe Frazier.

    I thought Ros was only 5'9"...5'10" at most. That's what I recall reading. Where are you getting your info about his fights?

    Also, where can I see these Italian archives TV fights you wrote about?
