yeah its boring for alot of people who have been waiting for him to lose more than a few rounds

Ward is a boring and dirty fighter: FACT!

Ward's far least dirty and boring fight... was against Froch. If that fight was his lowest level of boredom then he would have fans and be worth watching, but unfortunately the least interesting fight Froch has been in for years, is the most interesting fight Ward has ever been in.

Ward needs to shape up or people will never want to tune-in. Kessler and Froch fill football stadiums of 50.000+ people, while Ward cannot even fill a small hall with a few thousand if he gives the tickets away. Showtime miscalculated big time with Ward. They pulled all the strings to make him a star (home fights, home ref and on and on) and now they have a guy noone is interested in seeing. And that will not change no matter how many times he wins. His dirty style will never be a crowd pleaser. People love good fighters who win on skill and psysique but not fighters who 'win' on holding and hitting and headbuts.

 

To be honest I've only seen two Ward fights (Froch and Miranda) but from what I've seen he isn't all that boring. Maybe he doesn't have the right dance partner since he is faster and more technical then a slugger. His opponents are iron chinned hero's around ESB yet the knock on Ward is he hits like a lightweight? Please. I'd rather watch Ward then many other fighters from the footage I've seen.

Ward is just simply the way better fighter. I can understand why this would lead Froch to try to say negative things about him. After all Ward SINGLE handednly beat froch lol.

 

Ward is a better boxer than Froch, no doubt, and in P4P top-10 without a doubt. But is he boring? ****ing yes. Does he have a fan base? **** no! Hometown fighter? Absolutely. Does it looks like he is scared of Lucian Bute? Yes.

I want to like Ward, but he is making it hard.

Is Ward boring to watch? Well, to fans who know boxing, it might not seem that way, but to most people he's boring as ****. Also, the fact he sometimes plays dirty doesnt help.

Is he looking for atention? Of course he does. He's a champion yet noone seems to care about him. He doesnt have any fans no matter how much Showtime tried to promote him, as stated before in this thread. Bute makes more in 1 match vs random bum than Ward makes in a year. Bute fills 15 000 - 20 000 seats fighting bums, Ward cant sell 6 000 in the S6 final.

Is Ward delusional in thinking Bute has to prove himself before fighting him? Yea. Bute doesnt owe anyone anything. He's where he's at cause of hard work. You guys say he fights at home all the time. Guess what, that was not his home. He made it his home, he earned it in the ring. Bute called Ward out but he didnt know Ward' was busy fighting mediocrity on twitter. Dont be surprised when he calls out Calzaghe, Tyson and Ali then says the're all ducking him .
