i know its early days but already i have the feeling this is going to be 2006 all over again... we won in 2005 and then in 06 we didnt even make the 8

maybe on the flipside its good to get injuries out of the way early and there isnt much shame going down by 4 points to last years premiers, but the Dragons thrashing is bad no matter which way you look at it

 

In all fairness to my recent rant on Kearney...Royce simmons struggles to open a can of beer yet has somehow earned hundreds of thousands of dollars as a top grade footy coach..Im baffled.lol..

I hope Royce does become parra's coach..He really helped penrith during his time as headcoach there..

 

I dont totally agree with what u say about the side being not capable of making the top of comp etc..But i havent a clue what the problem is at parra...Usually the coach recieves the praise when teams are delivering so the coach should face the brunt of things when the teams misfiring.. Your right Kearney will be dusted soon..

 

Keep in mind this is rd 3 of 26. Its a long race.

It'l probably play out that a four match winning streak by any team outside the top 8 will probably see them make it inside the 8.

 

Royce might put himself out there as a bit of a lad, loves a beer & a bet & is a bit of a larikin, but i dont think thats the real Royce when it comes to footy, he's captained a team to a premiership, he's spent a lot of time working with Tim Sheens, he's no dubbo when it comes to knowing his footy & i reckon he'd have a pretty good rapport with his players

It's only early days, Gonz. This time last year, Canterbury were 3-0 and end up missing the 8. Warriors and Manly were 0/3, and 1/3 and both those teams met in the GF.

 

Hope they snotted each other, can't stand either of em.... I know some x players are saying stick by Kearny but even as knights fan I have never seen him as a good coach , he relies to much on his moari players , has a independent 7 - but not a 5/8 to match ..his players are lazy... And that comes from poor coaching leadership IMO ... Ps go the knights
