The fact you've got to try and talk down/talk up opponents size to try and make them more/less credible justs shows me that you're reaching.

Diaz and Katsidis are not top level opposition and Casamayor and Barrera were finished by the time Marquez fought him.

I said wins btw so no trying to throw his fights with Pacquiao in there, outside of them his resume is average and certainly not that of an ATG.

Pretty much, his resume needed one of those Pacquiao wins bad, he simply gets the nod over Winky because Winky is a known duck artist and cherry picker, who constantly called out smaller big money guys ala Martinez.

Okay, instead of picking apart Marquez's resume, please explain to me what pushes Winky above him?

    The Draw with Taylor?
The two wins over a former Lightweight?
Or the win over a rusty former WW?

I love Winky Wright, but he doesn't win this contest.

The only person I have as a clear favourite over winky at 154 is Hearns. I would favour him over all of his contemporaries he did not face (Oscar, forrest) plus he would be a tough out for anyone in the 147-160 over the last 25 years in his prime. That all being said on paper JMM has a better legacy with his close trilogy against Pac giving him a slight edge . . . not the huge gap that some are making out on here. it is close but clear

Tommy would have been the only clear favourite @ 154 and winky would be a tough out for even the body snatcher (but i would favour mike over him)

LOL at JMM being ATG where the only good thing about his resume is a 3 close fights with pacquiao where he kissed the canvass 4 times, held on the rope for dear life once and got outboxed, outpowerpunched by a subpar pac in the third fight LOL

Your hero's main legacy is based off of mexican's as 3 of them are ATG you should be dicksucking them you ******..

Not Cotto.Nor Hatton, nor mosely, nor clottey do anything more for Manny's career then what he accomplished with 2 mexicans, and pretty much equaled one of Mexicos best Technicians to ever come out in JMM...

marquez has a great resume apart from the paquiao fights, full of top ranked contenders in his respective divisions..

    You feeble minded *******.

Winky possibly could have been better but priced himself out of too many fights and messed around too much. A prime Winky is a stylistic nightmare to face that's for damned sure.

Winky has a bull****, big gloved defense that would not work back in the old days like in Ray Robinson's era.

    He's overrated.

JMM is a much better technician.
