Would James Kirkland trouble Sergio Martinez?

    Or would he get Williams'd? Both Williams and Kirkland put relentless pressure, but Kirkland has more power. How do you guys see this fight?

    Williams had a solid chin. Kirkland has a glass chin.

    Both Sexy Sergio and Jamez K are southpaws. This means Sexy can land his jab more easily than usual. Kirkland gets shattered via right hook.

    Yea, I do not give Kirkland much of a chance at all in this fight. Chin is way too shaky.

    No....susceptible to straight punches, shorter and leaky defense....lots of heart but a bit chinny....i see an exciting fight as long as it last til Martinez lands the coupe de grace

    It would be an entertaining 2 rounds of war, I think kirkland could land something and stun martinez but then get caught and stopped

    Martinez knocks him out in less than a round. No trouble whatsoever. In fact, I'd say someone like Kirkland is the PERFECT style matchup for Martinez.

    I think Sergio is too fast, smart, and big for Kirkland.

    I like Kirkland, but it would be easy work for Sergio.

    At best, Kirkland would trouble Martinez with a swarm of power punching for the first 5 rounds, and than be timed by Martinez and floored by a counter punch. Thats pretty much the way this fight goes down, Kirkland is made for Martinez.

    Kirkland would get stopped and I'm a huge kirkland fan. He needs to focus on canelo n cotto..... stay away from martinez, which sucks for Martinez because it just adds to his problem with name fighters not fighting him.

    I think he'd win the first round on activity then walk into a single shot which would turn out the lights. I predict a literal clone of Williams II for the result in this one.
