I remember I must have been about 7 watching it in a pub and they all though Tyson would win. Moral of the story is to not watch fights in pubs guys.
I watched Klitschko - Haye in a pub. I was the only guy cheering for Wlad (Made £150 when he won) some blokes in there were not pleased :bart
Yeah, I watched it in a pub (titty bar) as well and there were many that seemed stunned that Tyson was taking such a beating. Personally, I was hoping that Tyson could find Lennox's chin, but it was apparent in the first round that Lewis knew how to tie Mike up when he would lunge to try to get inside. At the time I was a member of a few fitness forums and there were a surprising number of Brits picking Tyson to win:huh
Nice. :good The general impression I think, was that Lewis would win. But it wasn't seen as a foregone conclusion either. The qustionmarks about Lewis' beard and Tyson's one-punch power always guaranteed that there was going to be some niggling doubts about it. I was rooting for Mike, and in my heart of hearts I pretty much figured that he was going to lose, but again, just enough doubt remained that I wasn't sure. Going by internet banter at the time, a lot of people weren't either.
