    Really? All the Middleweight Champions are fighting B level fighters and Martinez can only fight financially viable guys, I.E. Irish guys.

    Chavez not wanting to fight lee just because he's a southpaw is a joke. World champion my hole. Dunno who's a more worthless champion chavez or cleverly?

    Seriously though, who else are they going to get? It won't be Martinez. Looking at the rankings there's Geale (no name value, too dangerous), Golovkin (same) Pirog has a fight scheduled, Macklin probably won't want it so soon after a tough loss.

    According to Steve Kim it could be Vanes vs Chavez JNR next.

    Vanes vs Chavez is a really good fight if it comes off imo. Of course id like to see Lee get the fight but its a really unlikely. Its about time we see Vanes step it up a level.

    Everyone else is tied up. This would be the best possible fight at middleweight as far as the fans are concerned. Pity Jr is a bit of a cherry picker..

    The only potential and probable fight that is better then Vanes vs Chavez is Kirkland vs Chavez.

    Vanes is also a ticket seller and so is Chavez, big live gate there.

    Vanes is a light middle and over the hill ouma gave him all the trouble he could handle. Refused the angulo fight too when he should have stepped up to the plate, didn't like him for that. Aren't both of em trained by roach anyway?
