    Mercer easily...........that ray mercer knocks out wlad.....with that sonny liston type jab......to bad ray didnt train hard enough for lennox....236 lbs...he was 224 lbs for holy 1 yr previous........mercer knocks out wlad.....back to the question...mercer was better than vitali...mercer finished.....vitali did not.

    just put vladimir on ignore. its real easy. just go to the top left corner and click on user cp. then on the left side of your screen you will edit ignore list. put his name in and save it. voila you wont have to deal with idiot any longer.

    That knock down pissed me off. I never saw it coming. Mercer still had one of, if not the, best chin in the game at that point and I never would have imagined Holyfield being able to drop him.

    "Vitali was clearly winning the fight 4-2 on all 3 scorecards at the time of the controversial doctor stoppage.

    I have asked this before--

    PLEASE tell us what was controversial about the stoppage? If there was ever a LEGIT stoppage it was this one.

    The same poster's picking Mercer would probably also claim Mavrovc gave LL a tougher fight than Vitaly. Even possibly Holyfield in their second fight.
